You must be very frightened and concerned.
Did you do a
pregnancy test yourself or was it a chemist or a
doctor? How does your
boyfriend feel about you being pregnant? Certainly a lot of girls who become pregnant mid-teens feel
just as you do that abortion is the only solution.
It is important that you do take time to consider your
options before making a decision.
Both you and your boyfriend need to talk the situation
through rather than making a
decision quickly and regretting it later.
It may seem an impossible thought to tell your
parents but often talking to them helps even though
they may be shocked or upset. In
our
experience they usually are supportive and if you were
to think of roles reversed “would
you want to be there for your daughter, if she were
pregnant?”
